Bhadrak: At least three people sustained injuries when a stone chip-laden truck jumped off a flyover near Bhadrak town in Odisha on Tuesday.
The truck loaded with stone chips was on its way to Bhadrak from Cuttack this morning. While moving on the national highway the driver lost control of the wheels and the vehicle fell off the flyover breaking the railing.
According to sources, three persons travelling on the truck were injured in the incident. Local people rescued the injured and rushed them to a local hospital. Their condition was said to be stable.
While the precise reason behind the accident is yet to be ascertained, it is believed that the driver lost control over the wheels as it was speeding recklessly.
