Bhubaneswar: Three persons have been arrested in connection with the death of a young woman whose body was found from Tarini Basti in Bharatpur locality on the outskirts of the city on January 10.
Reportedly, one of the three accused identified as Chhotu is the boyfriend of the deceased Surekha Palei, who was a native of Brahmagiri area of Puri district.
It is worthwhile to mention that Commissionerate Police had seized two mobile phones from near Surekha’s body. It was suspected that she was murdered during a feast before her body was dumped.
