Three Killed In Tragic Road Accident In Ganjam’s Digapahandi

Berhampur: In a tragic incident this afternoon, three people lost their lives in a fatal road accident in the Digapahandi area of Ganjam district. A speeding tanker reportedly lost control and rammed into a motorcycle, killing a man and his two nieces on the spot.

The accident occurred on the Berhampur-Digapahandi main road, near the Digapahandi Notified Area Council (NAC), when the tanker struck a Bullet motorcycle carrying the three victims. Preliminary reports indicate that the man was travelling with his nieces when the high-speed impact occurred, leaving all three dead at the scene.

As of this report, the identities of the deceased have not yet been officially confirmed.

The accident has triggered outrage among local residents, who gathered at the site demanding compensation for the victims’ families and immediate legal action against the tanker driver. The situation at the site remains tense, with police personnel deployed to maintain order.

Authorities are investigating the incident, and efforts are underway to identify the deceased and notify their families.
