Three Killed In Truck-Bolero Collision In Subarnapur

Subarnapur: Three persons were killed in a devastating collision that occurred at Matupali Chhak under Ulunda police station in Subarnapur district on Wednesday evening.

The deceased victims were employees of Tata Power Company, reports said. The deceased are Sushilu Naik, Artatrana Purohit and Sanjeev Patra.

The accident involved a truck travelling from Sonepur Sadar and a Bolero coming from Sindol, which crashed head-on, leaving two Bolero passengers dead at the scene. Another passenger sustained critical injuries.

The impact of the collision was so severe that the truck overturned on the roadside, injuring two of its passengers. The injured passengers were rushed to Ulunda Hospital in a 108 ambulance where doctors declared them dead.

Local police have launched an investigation into the accident.
