Angul/Rayagada: Three persons, including two women, were killed in two road accidents in Angul and Rayagada districts on Sunday.
In the first incident, two women who were seated on a bricks-laden tractor died after the vehicle overturned in between Guda village and Muniguda. The deceased were identified as Ilem Sikka and Lake Nandruka of Merakibandali village.
In Angul, a journalist died after he was knocked down by a speeding car on NH 53 near Kaniha. The deceased was identified Sushant Dhal. Another youth, Sarat Jena sustained serious injuries in the incident.
