Keonjhar/Sundargarh: Three people were killed in two separate road accidents in Odisha during the last 24 hours.
In the first accident, two people were killed on the Janghira-Tentalapasi Road under Pandapada police limits in Odisha’s Keonjhar district when an unidentified vehicle ran over them on Sunday night. The deceased have been identified as Lalmohan Raut of Khudapsi village of Harichandanpur block and Vidyadhar Barik of Patmunda village under Koida police limits of Sundargarh district.
The accident occurred when the duo were returning home from Samudi Janghira Bazar. Both the victims were rushed to the Harichandanpur hospital in critical condition but doctors declared them brought dead.
In the second road rage, a biker died after being hit by a Forest department vehicle near Musa Posnikot on National Highway – 143 in Sundargarh district late on Sunday night. The identity of the deceased, who died on the spot, is yet to be ascertained.
