Three Missing Girls Of Koraput Ashram School Found Safe After 5 Hours Of Disappearance

Koraput: Three girl students, who had gone missing from Padeiguda Ashram Schoolunder Borigumma block yesterday evening, were rescued after five hours.

According to reports, police found the girls, all Class III students, taking shelter in a nearby hut around 5 hours after they disappeared.

The girls, identified as Mamata Badnayak, Bhavani Badnayak, and Sebati Jani from Jeypore block, had returned to school after Christmas break and were dropped off by their parents at 3:30 pm. When they didn’t return home, their parents were informed, and a missing case was filed at Borigumma police station, said sources.

Police launched a search, and the girls were found safe. The reason for their disappearance is under investigation.
