Jagatsinghpur: Three Plus-II students, two from Bhubaneswar, drowned while taking a bath in the Devi river in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district on Monday.
According to reports, three students studying in a college at Satyanagar in Bhubaneswar were visiting a friend at Ambashala village under Balikuda block. On Monday morning, the four friends went to the river to bathe and all accidentally slipped into deep waters. One student was rescued by locals and admitted to a nearby hospital, while the others are missing till the time of filing this report.
Later in the day, body of another student was fished out of the river, while two are still missing.
Meanwhile, Fire Services personnel are working to trace and rescue the missing students. The identity of none of the students could be ascertained yet.
