Puri: Three persons sustained serious injuries after a car they were travelling rammed into an electric pole between Bhubaneswar and Puri today afternoon.
The three victims, identified as Sapan Sarkar, Somarai Sarkar and Prsanjit Ray are residents of Kolkata. They met with the mishap at Biragobindapur under Chandapur police limits.
Sapan was going to Puri for darshan of Lord Jagannath, but destiny had cruel plans and the family met with this terrible road accident.
While the children are safe, the aforementioned trio sustained serious burn injuries. While this report was being filed, arrangements were made to shift the injured persons to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack
