Three Youths Detained For Harassing Schoolgirls In Paradip

Paradip: Three youths have been detained by the Paradip Lock police in Jagatsinghpur district for allegedly harassing schoolgirls, making lewd comments, and issuing severe threats.

According to reports, the victims, all 9th-grade students from Bishwali, reported that the youths frequently followed them, made offensive remarks, and threatened to assault, rape, and kill them.

The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation. The accused have been detained for questioning, and their ages are being verified through matriculation certificates and Aadhaar cards. Further action will be taken based on the investigation’s findings, reports said.
