Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain or thundershower with lightning is likely to affect some parts of the districts of Jajpur, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal, Khordha (including Bhubaneswar), Kandhamal, Boudh, Sonepur, Bargarh and Sundargarh within the next three hours, said a nowcast warning issued by the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD’s) Regional Centre here at 3.25 PM today.
The IMD has issued a ‘Yellow’ alert for these districts.
Further, it has advised people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes
