Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain or thundershower with lightning is likely to affect some parts of the districts of Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Bolangir, Rayagada, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Khordha and Puri within the next three hours, a nowcast warning of the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here at 4.35 PM on Friday.
The Met Department has issued a ‘Yellow’ warning for these districts.
The weather agency has advised people in these areas to keep a watch a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
