Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain/thundershower with lightning is likely to affect some parts of the districts of Puri, Kendrapara, Bargarh, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Ganjam, Gajapati and Kandhamal within next three hours, said a nowcast warning issued by the Meteorological Centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) here at 4.30 PM today.
The IMD has issued a ‘Yellow’ alert for the above mentioned districts.
Further, the weather agency has advised people to keep watch on weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike.
