Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain or thundershower with lightning is very likely to affect some parts of the districts of Khordha (including Bhubaneswar City), Puri (including Puri City), Ganjam, Jajpur, Angul, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Dhenkanal within next three hours, according to a nowcast warning issued by India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) regional centre here at 9.30 PM today. The IMD has issued a ‘Yellow’ warning for these districts.
The weather agency has advised people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
