**Bhubaneswar:** The Regional Meteorological Centre here on Thursday issued thunderstorm alert for 16 districts of Odisha till 4:15 pm.
As per the weather bulletin released by the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, “Latest Doppler weather radar and satellite imageries indicate that thunderstorm accompanied with gusty surface wing speed reaching 50-60 kmph likely to occur over the district of Khurda (Bhubaneswar), Puri, Nayagarh, Jagatsinghpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Cuttack, Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Angul and Koraput between 21/1215 IST (12.15 pm) and 21/1615 Hrs (of June 21, 2018).”
All the District Collectors of respective districts, Special Relief Commissioner (SRC), Government of Odisha and MD, OSDMA, Government of Odisha have also been alerted, the weather bulletin stated.
