Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate thunderstorm with lightning, gusty wind speed reaching 30- 40 kmph, and light to moderate rain are likely to affect some parts of districts of Cuttack, Khordha, Bargarh including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack cities within the next three hours, said a nowcast warning issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) at 5.05 PM today.
The IMD has issued a ‘Yellow’ alert for these places and advised people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strikes.
