Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain and thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 KMPH is likely to affect some parts of the districts of Dhenkanal, Cuttack including Cuttack city, Khordha including Bhubaneswar city within the next three hours said a nowcast warning issued by the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar at 6 PM.
The Meteorological Centre has issued a ‘Yellow’ alert for the aforementioned areas.
The Met Department has advised people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
