Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate thundershower with lightning along with light to moderate rain is likely to affect some parts of districts of Puri, Cuttack, Nayagarh, and Khordha (including Bhubaneswar city) within the next three hours, according to a nowcast warning issued by the regional centre of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) here at 2:00 pm on Wednesday.
The IMD issued a ‘Yellow’ alert for the above-mentioned districts.
The weather agency has advised people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
