Bhubaneswar: The IMD has predicted that thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over Koraput, Malkangiri, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Nuapada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Balasore, and Nawarangpur.
“Light to Moderate Rain or Thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, Nuapada and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha,” the IMD stated.
There will be no large change in Maximum temperature (day temperature) during next 2 to 3 days and decrease thereafter by 3 to 4 degrees Celcius in Odisha. Maximum temperature will be above normal by 2 to 3 degrees at many places during next two days.
Bhubaneswar will experience partly cloudy sky with possibility of development of thunder lightning. Maximum and Minimum temperature very likely to be around 38 degrees and 26 degrees respectively, the IMD added.
