Thunderstorm Predicted In These Four Odisha Districts Within Next Three Hours

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted thunderstorm with gusty wind in several places of Koraput, Rayagarh, Gajapati and Ganjam districts within next three hours.

“Moderate Thunderstorm with  gusty wind speed reaching   30- 40 kmph , Light to moderate rain likely to affect some parts of districts of  Koraput, Rayagarh, Gajapati and Ganjam  including  cities within next   3(three ) hours,” an IMD bulletin stated.

Under its impact Minor damage to loose and unsecured structures, minor damage to Banana trees, Damage to standing crops may occur.

People are advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and be ready to move to safer places accordingly.
