Thunderstorm, Rain, Lightning Likely In 5 Odisha Dists Within Next 2 Hours

Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate thunderstorm with gusty wind speed reaching 30-40 Kmph , lightning and light to moderate rain is likely to affect some parts of Khordha, Puri, Cuttack, Nuapada and Bargarh districts within next two hours, according to a nowcast warning issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) at 10.25 PM on Tuesday.

The IMD has issued a ‘Yellow’ alert for these districts.

The weather agency has advised people to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and be ready to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike.
