Bhubaneswar: At least five districts of Odisha are likely to witness thunderstorm with lightning and heavy rainfall during the next 24 hours. These districts are: Jajpur, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, and Nayagarh. The Met Department has issued a Yellow Waning for these districts to remain alert.
“Besides, light to Moderate Rain or Thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Interior Odisha and at a few places over the districts of Coastal Odisha. No large change in Maximum temperature (day temperature) during next 4-5 days over the districts of Odisha,” the IMD stated.
The Capital City will experience partly cloudy sky with possibility of moderate rain or Thunderstorm. Bhubaneswar’s Maximum and Minimum temperature very likely to be around 37 degrees and 26 degrees respectively. Odisha will experience rainy period over the next five days, the IMD bulletin on Friday evening said.
