Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm with lightning accompanied with gusty surface wind likely over districts of Odisha during the next 4-5 days, said a special bulletin issued by the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here on Monday.
“Due to likely interaction of middle dry westerly with lower level moisture-laden winds from the Bay of Bengal, meteorological conditions becoming favourable for moderate thunderstorm activity with lightning, hail, heavy rain, gusty surface wind and scattered to fairly widespread rainfall over the districts of Odisha during next 4 to 5 days,” the special bulletin stated.
