Thunderstorm With Lightning In Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Boudh Within 2-3 Hrs

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department has predicted a moderate thunderstorm with lightning, accompanied by gusty surface winds reaching 50-60 kmph in parts of Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Ganjam, and Boudh within the next two to three hours.

Light to moderate rain likely to affect these districts also.

Under its impact, minor damage to loose or unsecured structures, minor damage to banana trees, and some damage to standing crops may occur.

People are advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and be ready to move to safer places accordingly.
