Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for 12 districts predicting light rain or thunderstorm with lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) within the next three hours.
As per IMD nowcast warning issued at 7 am, districts going to be affected by the inclement weather are Koraput, Nabarangapur, Rayagada, Nuapada, Bargarh, Balangir, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, and Kalahandi districts.
Residents are advised to monitor weather updates and seek shelter in safe areas to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
