Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday predicted that thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places in 12 districts of Odisha in the next 24 hours.
Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph are very likely to occur in the districts of Cuttack, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Boudh, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Ganjam, Puri, Khurda and Nayagarh.
The IMD further stated that there will be no large change in Maximum temperature (Day temperature) during the next 4-5 days over the districts of Odisha.
