Thunderstorm With Lightning Likely In 16 Odisha Dists Within Next 3 Hrs

Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain is likely to affect some parts of districts of Kandhamal, Boudh, Bolangir, Sonepur, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Malkangiri, Koraput, Kandhamal, Boudh, Bolangir, Sonepur, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Malkangiri, and Koraput within next three hours, according to a nowcast warning issued by the local meteorological centre of the India Meteorological Department at 3.00 PM on Monday.

The IMD has advised people to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike.
