Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning, predicting light to moderate rain or thunderstorms with lightning and gusty surface winds (30-40 kmph) in 15 Odisha districts over the next three hours.
According to the nowcast warning issued at 9:45 am, the districts likely to be affected include Malkangiri, Koraput, Nuapada, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nabarangapur, Angul, Dhenkanal, and Jajpur.
Residents are advised to keep a close watch on weather updates and be prepared for worsening conditions.
