Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for light to moderate rain and thunderstorms in eight Odisha districts.
The alert, valid for the next three hours, covers districts including Bargarh, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal and Kalahandi. The warning has been issued at 1 pm.
Residents are advised to be cautious and prepared for potential worsening weather conditions. In case of lightning, people are urged to seek shelter in safe locations to avoid harm.
