Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological issued a yellow warning to seven Odisha districts predicting light thunderstorms with rain and lightning in the next three hours.
According to Nowcast warning issued by the IMD at 7:30 pm, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Sundargarh, Puri, Cuttack, Khordha and Nayagarh districts are likely to experience light thunderstorms and rain in the said period.
People are advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and be ready to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike.
