Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm with lightning accompanied by gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Boudh, Nuapada, Bolangir, and Sonepur during the next 24 hours, according to the midday weather bulletin issued by the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here.
The weather agency has issued a ‘Yellow’ warning for these districts.
Besides, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of the State during the next 24 hours, the weather agency added.
In its forecast for Bhubaneswar and its neighbourhood, the IMD has said that the sky will be partly cloudy with the possibility of one or two spells of rain or thundershowers while maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 37°C and 28°C respectively.

Besides, light to moderate rain/thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Odisha on Tuesday, the IMD has said.

Besides, heavy rainfall on Wednesday is likely to occur in one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Kalahandi, and Koraput.
The IMD has issued a ‘Yellow’ warning for these districts.
Further, light to moderate rain or thundershower is likely to occur at many places over the districts of Odisha on Wednesday the IMD has said in its forecast.
