Bhubaneswar: Tigress Zeenat will be released into the wild when the right time comes.
This was shared by Prem Kumar Jha, the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) and Chief Wildlife Warden.
“We have built a new enclosure to accommodate Zeenat. However, she will be released into the wild habitat when the suitable time comes. A team from the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) has inspected her and is satisfied with her health and behavior,” said Jha to reporters on Monday.
He also explained that experts are carefully monitoring the tigress’s behavior.
“We are taking measures to ensure that she does not go outside, and once everything is set, we will release her into the wild,” he added.
