Bhubaneswar: The exit polls put forth by various pollsters differ widely vis-a’-vis the results of the Odisha Assembly elections are concerned. While the India Today-My India Axis projected a neck-and-neck fight between the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and opposition BJP on Sunday, the Times Now Exit Poll on Monday predicted a comfortable win by the BJD leaving a distant second position for the BJP.
According to the Times Now Exit Poll, BJD is likely to secure 100 to 115 seats in the Odisha Assembly. On the other hand, it forecast that the BJP may get 30-38 seats, while the Congress is projected to get 4 to 7 seats. Other political entities may secure anything between 1 and 2 seats in the Odisha Assembly.
The Times Now Exit Poll further predicted that the BJD will secure 47 per cent of votes, while the BJP will get 38 per cent votes and Congress will get 11 percent votes.
Others may get 5 per cent of the votes.
Earlier, Jan Ki Baat predicted 81 (+-12) seats for BJD and 58 (+-14) seats for BJP.
