Tipsy Man Held For Attacking Son Brutally Over Domestic Dispute

Bhubaneswar: Krushnaprasad police on Wednesday arrested a person for allegedly attacking his son with a sharp weapon over a family dispute at Jagirikuda village under Krushnaprasad block in Puri district.

According to reports, a heated argument broke out between the accused father and son over a family matter, which escalated into a physical altercation. The father, in an inebriated condition, attacked his son with a sharp weapon, leaving him critically injured.

The injured son was first rushed to the Brahmagiri hospital and later shifted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bhubaneswar for further treatment.

On a tip-off, police arrested the father in connection with the incident and will produce him in court soon.
