Tipsy Woman Kills 8-yr Old Son In Malkangiri

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, a woman allegedly killed her eight-year-old son in an inebriated condition on Saturday night.

The tragic incident took place at Tumbaguda village under Kalimela police station.

The accused has been identified as Wagi Padiami while the deceased is her minor son Rohit Padiami.

The incident came to fore after Muka Padiami revealed this to the villagers accusing his wife of killing his son in inebriated condition.

He alleged that Wagi used to beat Rohit after consuming alcohol. Last night Wagi beat Rohit black and blue which led to the latter’s death.

Meanwhile, villagers including ward member Laka Madkani filed a complaint at Kalimela police station.

Based on the complaint, police have started an investigation.
