‘Titli’ Weakening, Heading Towards West Bengal: Bhubaneswar IMD Director

**Bhubaneswar:** The very severe cyclonic storm ‘Titli’ is weakening and will be heading towards West Bengal, informed regional director of India Meteorological Department (IMD) HR Biswas today.

The maximum wind speed of ‘Titli’ as recorded by the observatory of IMD in Gopalpur today morning was 126 kmph. Its effect will remain in Odisha till today evening as a result of which heavy to very heavy rainfall will lash south coastal, north coastal and south interior districts of Odisha, said Biswas.

He further informed that while some interior parts of Odisha will experience a wind speed of around 60 to 90 kmph, it will gradually decrease after 12 PM. Under its influence moderate to heavy rainfall will occur in north coastal and north interior districts of Odisha.
