Subarnapur: A 14-year-old girl housed at Mayabarha temporary medical centre (TMC) in Dunguripali block of the district, passed away today.
She along with her family had recently returned from Tamil Nadu.
Last night a medical team was called when the minor fainted. However, the doctor pronounced the girl as ‘dead’ on arrival.
Rampur police have sent the body for autopsy as the cause of death remained unascertained. On the other hand, the deceased’s maternal uncle has accused that the mismanagement at the TMC has caused the death. He has also lodged a case regarding the same.
