Koraput: Torrential downpour over the last three days has washed away the temporary bridge and a part of the under-construction bridge over a hilly stream at Bailuguda near Sambai on this side of the Odisha-Andhra border in Koraput district.
Vehicular movement from Pottangi towards Sambai has come to a halt causing immense hardship to the people living in the border area.
Sambai sarpanch Kishore Khara and the Panchayat Executive Officer have visited the spot and have informed the district administration.
