Balasore: A Minister cleaning a dirty toilet in a school in the district has become the talk of the town.
Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi, Tourism Minister in Naveen Patnaik’s government was on a surprise visit to Khaira High School in Balasore district.
During the visit to the school, Panigrahi saw that the toilet and washbasin used by the students were very dirty. Lo and behold, the Minister took a broom and cleaned the toilet and washbasin spick and span.
The Minister has become the subject of public admiration in the district after the incident.
“Students are the future of the country. So, therefore, taking care of their health is most important. The toilet and washbasin used by the students should be clean always. For that reason, I cleaned those,” Panigrahi said.
