Puri: In a tragic incident, a tourist drowned while taking a bath in the sea near Chaitanya Chowk here today.
A male tourist was swept away deep into the sea by a huge tide. He was rescued by the lifeguards and rushed to the district headquarters hospital.
However, he was declared brought dead by the doctors. His identity has not been established.
