Puri: Yet again another tourist drowned to death in the sea here today. Another tourist who also drowned remains untraceable.
The deceased has been identified as Arindam Das, a native of Hoogly in neghbouring West Bengal.
According to reports, Arindam and his friends were bathing in the sea at sector 13 when they were swept away by a huge tidal wave. While Arindam’s body was fished out by the lifeguards present there, the other man remains missing.
In a similar incident, two tourists from West Bengal drowned to death in the sea here on Wednesday.
