Tourist Rescued While Being Swept Away By Rip Current In Puri Sea

Bhubaneswar: A tourist was rescued while being swept away by a rip current on Sector 3 beach in Puri sea, on Tuesday.

The tourist, identified as Sanjay Kumar Panda from Jajpur district, was caught in the strong current while taking bath in the sea. However, thanks to the quick response of lifeguards, Sanjay was rescued from the deep waters.

According to eyewitnesses, the lifeguards immediately sprang into action and pulled Sanjay to safety. After rescuing him, the lifeguards provided first aid to ensure his well-being.

Sanjay credited the lifeguards’ presence of mind and swift action for saving his life. He expressed gratitude to the lifeguards for giving him a new lease on life.
