Bhubaneswar: TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL), a joint venture of Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, has secured top rank in Performance Improvement at the prestigious Innovation with Impact Awards for Discoms 2024, organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
TPCODL also secured the second overall rank in the Challenged State category, further showcasing its commitment to excellence in power distribution.
Niranjan Rout, Head, Business Excellence, received the award on behalf of TPCODL from Anil Razdan, Summit & Jury Chair and Former Power Secretary, Government of India and B.P. Singh, Jury Member and former Member of the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission.
The “Innovation with Impact Awards for Discoms 2024” recognizes innovative practices by India’s electricity distribution companies, highlighting initiatives that have a significant positive impact on the energy sector. The award ceremony held on October 23, 2024, in New Delhi, was a proud moment for TPCODL, Tata Power Mumbai and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL), as all excelled in multiple categories, showcasing Tata Power’s commitment to innovation and excellence in power distribution.
This 12th annual edition of the awards featured participation from 32 DISCOMs nationwide and was supported by the Ministry of Power.
