Bhubaneswar: Two students died after a tractor hit the bike they were travelling in near Balanga Square in Puri district on Thursday evening.
The deceased students have been identified as Ayushman Parida (7) and Subrat Parida (9) of Gadachandpur village.
As per reports, the students were returning from tuition when the mishap took place. They were returning home on a relative’s bike when a tractor from the opposite direction hit their bike near Balanga Square. As a result, the biker and both the students sustained severe injuries on their heads. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where the students were brought dead. The tractor driver reportedly fled the scene.
