Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident on Friday evening, the driver of a pickup van was charred to death after the vehicle collided with a tractor headon.
The mishap has been reported from Deogaon square in Bolangir. The blaze, following the collision was so spontaneous, that the driver of the ill-fated pickup van had no time to escape.
He was charred to death on the spot. Fire service personnel rushed to his rescue but it was too late. Local police seized the vehicles and registered a case in this connection.
