Bhubaneswar: Puri Police issued a traffic advisory to ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent disruptions during the Magha Saptami Buda on February 4 at Konark.
Parking Arrangements
Buses
- Puri-bound buses will park near Ramachandi PS and return via the same route.
- Buses from Kakatpur and Nimapada will park at Konark Helipad Ground and return via the same route.
Four-Wheelers
- Puri-bound four-wheelers will park near Ramachandi PS and return via the same route.
- Four-wheelers from Kakatpur and Nimapada will park at Konark Helipad Ground and return via the same route. Once the parking space fills up at Konark Helipad Ground, authorities will direct vehicles to IOCL Parking and ASI Museum side parking.
Two-Wheelers
- Two-wheelers from Puri will park near the Light House on the left side of the road and return via the same route.
- Two-wheelers from Kakatpur and Nimapada will park near Konark Helipad and return via the same route. Once the parking space fills up at Konark Helipad, authorities will direct vehicles to IOCL Parking and ASI Museum side parking.
Traffic Regulation
Police will regulate traffic from 12:00 pm on February 3 to 8:00 am on February 4, according to the traffic mobility plan.

The road from Junei Bazaar Chhaka to Tikina Chhaka via Nalkana, Sutan, and Balikapileswar will serve as a contingency route for vehicles traveling between Puri and Nimapada/Kakatpur.
Security Arrangements
To manage the expected crowds, the administration will deploy 33 platoons of police forces, 12 Deputy Superintendents of Police, 26 Inspectors In Charge (IICs), and additional officers from Puri district to maintain law and order.
