Bhubaneswar: The Police Commissionerate of Bhubaneswar-Cuttack has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the 6th Session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly (OLA), scheduled from February 17 to April 8, 2026.
The session will be held in two phases: Phase 1 from February 17 to 24, and Phase 2 from March 9 to April 8.
To ensure smooth traffic and security near the State Assembly, certain diversions and restrictions will be in place during the Assembly sessions:
- Vehicles from Housing Board Square towards Rabindra Mandap will be diverted at Keshari Talkies Square.
- Vehicles from AG Square towards PMG will turn right from Jaydev Bhavan and proceed via IG Park Road.
- Vehicles from Master Canteen side towards PMG will be diverted near adjoining lanes at Lower PMG.
- Vehicles from 120 Infantry Battalion Square will not be allowed towards Rabindra Mandap and will be redirected to Power House Square.
- Vehicles from Lok Bhavan Square towards MLA Colony and Rabindra Mandap will be diverted at 120 Bn. Square towards Sastrinagar Square.
These restrictions will not apply to emergency vehicles (Police, Fire, and Ambulance) or vehicles authorized to enter official buildings, including the State Assembly, Lok Seva Bhawan, and other offices located in the area.
The restrictions will be in force for the entire duration of the Assembly session. Motorists are advised to follow the diversions and plan their routes accordingly.
