Traffic Constable Killed In Accident In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A traffic constable was killed after an unidentified vehicle hit him on NH-16 near Jayadev Vihar flyover in Bhubaneswar on Saturday night. The deceased has been identified as Madhusudan Kirshani.

The accident took place when Kirshani was on his way to home at Khandagiri around 11 pm. He was returning to home after completing his duty.

He was deployed at Ram Mandir chhak traffic post.

A heavy vehicle is suspected to have crushed him near Jaydev Vihar. He died on the spot.

A case has been registered and police started investigation by examining CCTV footage of the area to trace the vehicle that caused the mishap.
