Tragic Accident Claims Two Lives in Ganjam

Bhubaneswar: A morning walk turned fatal for an elderly man in Ganjam district’s Khajapalli village, as he was hit by a bike, resulting in the deaths of both the pedestrian and the bike rider.

The deceased have been identified as Kashinath Sethi, 60, of Shalabon village, and Mitu Parida, of Ranipada village. According to reports, Mitu lost control of his bike near Khajapalli village, colliding with Kashinath.

Both victims were rushed to nearby medical facilities, but unfortunately, they succumbed to their injuries. Kashinath was declared dead at Kodala Medical College, while Mitu was pronounced dead at Polsara Medical College.

A pall of gloom descended on the locality, with family and friends mourning the loss of the two lives.
