Bhubaneswar: A training-cum-workshop organised by Chief Electoral Officer, Odisha held on today at Madhusudan Academy, Bhubaneswar for the District level Master Trainers and Assembly Constituency level Master Trainer on Special Summer Revision of Electoral Rolls-2023 and amendments made in Representation of Peoples Act 1950 and 1951 recently.
Chief Electoral Officer Sushil Kumar Lohani outlined opening remarks and overall plan of training to the participants from the districts of Balangir, Nuapara, Nawarangapur, Kalahandi, Kandhamala, Boudha, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri.
Training has been imparted on pre-revision 2023, special camp for online and offline Form Collection and Digitalization, Rationalisation of Polling booths, Amendments of Representation of Peoples Act-1950 & 1951 and 1960, introduction of New Forms for Registration, New modified Forms and Four Qualifying dates for new voters for registration, newly introduced Form 6(B) (Collection of Aadhar on voluntary basis) and security aspects of Aadhar data, clearing of Photo Similar Entries (PSE), Demography Similar Entries (DSE), non-photo, repeat EPIC cases etc.
Director, Higher Education Raghuram Aiyer, Additional Chief Electoral Officer Satrughna Kar and Smt. Sanghamitra Satpathy, Samir Dash, Asst. Collector, Bhubaneswar, Shushree Pradhan, Deputy Collector, Kalahandi imparted training to the 86 participants from 16 districts.
